THE STUDIO
The workshops are held in a working studio – any works-in-progress/equipment will be clearly labelled if they are a potential hazard or still drying – please respect these notices! There is limited space for bags, so please pack light!
CHILDREN
The minimum age for each workshop is listed. This is based on the materials/equipment used and complexity of each project. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult unless other arrangements have been agreed prior to booking. There is no child discount.
SMOKING
Please note that the studio and house are strictly non-smoking. You may smoke in the garden, but please be considerate to other workshop attendees, and dispose of your butts in the ashtrays provided.
ACCESSIBILITY
The studio is at the end of my garden. There several single steps, a gravel/paving slab path and areas of decking to negotiate. Decking areas may be slippery in adverse weather, but I will do my best to reduce this. There are no toilet facilities in the studio, but ground floor toilet facilities are available in the house for workshop attendees.
PARKING
Parking isn’t normally a problem – please be considerate to our neighbours and if possible car share to reduce the number of cars needing to park.
DOGS
Please be aware there are two friendly dogs who also share the house and studio, Charlie and Esther. They are non-shedding, low-allergy breeds and will usually leave you alone once they’ve said hello. If you have any problems with dogs, please let me know and I can make suitable arrangements.
PRIVACY
I will not share your contact information with anyone else. I will check with you while you are at the workshop if you are happy to receive occasional emails promoting my future workshops. All payment information is used securely by PayPal, and I do not have any access to it.
CANCELLATIONS
If you need to cancel a workshop, you may send someone else in your place. If your place can be filled from a waiting list, you will receive a full refund. If your place is not filled, a refund will not be able to be given. In the unlikely event of me needing to cancel a workshop, a full refund will be made. Workshop fees are not subject to the full Distance Selling Regulations [2000], so there is no ‘cooling off’ period after you order.
DELIVERY
As soon as payment is cleared through PayPal, your workshop booking is confirmed. For all other items that may be ordered at a workshop, delivery times, methods and cost will be confirmed on the day due to different suppliers/availability.
INSURANCE
Hopefully you won’t need it, but The Studio has public liability insurance. Equally, hopefully you won’t need them but The Studio is also equipped with fire extinguishers and fire blankets.
